Independently created idents and posters for UCA Rochester's CG Arts and Animation presence at New Designers

My Contributions

• 3D Asset Modelling

  • Created a simple globe and radio tower model. reminiscent of the RKO Pictures ident, using Autodesk Maya

• Rendering

  • Rendered locally using Mental Ray in Autodesk Maya

• 3D Animation

  • Animated the model and lighting using Autodesk Maya

• Motion Graphics

  • Animated text in the idents, as well as applying simulated gate-weave and rolling shutter effects to emulate footage on old, 35mm film stock

• Graphic Design

  • Created still art deco inspired posters for each exhibitor of the course using Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop
